Haiku Eroticon Meet and Greet

Eroticon Meet and Greet Haiku

NAME (and Twitter if you have one)

Haiku or @19syllables (happy to share my given name if we meet at the conference)

What are you most looking forward to about Eroticon 2018?

Of course, meeting old friends and connecting with people who I’ve spoken to online or who’s work I admire is something to look forward to – and I know from experience the conference will deliver this.  But at last year’s Eroticon I learned a lot of new things, thought about things from different perspectives and embarked on things in writing and drawing workshops that were new and brave for me. I don’t yet know what these new things will be this year, but I’m really excited to find out.  There were a couple of things that I was a bit too reserved to join in with last time (including this Meet and Greet exercise) I am emboldened this year!.

We are creating a play list of songs for the Friday Night Meet and Greet. Nominate one song that you would like us to add to the play list and tell us why you picked that song.

Long Train Running by The Doobie Brothers.  It’s happy and funky and dancy and retro, so I’d be happy for that song to represent for me!

What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid?

When I was very little I wanted to be a nun, I think it was the outfits, the sense of inner, calm strength, and maybe a Julie Andrews thing.  I hadn’t really thought it through.

Weirdest place you’ve ever gotten up to mischief (define ‘mischief’ however you like…)

Back of a classroom. With a teacher.

Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself

I worked on a Bond Movie.

I have 4 Kidneys.

I used to be a member of the International Bungee Jump Display Team.

Complete the sentence: I want..

(I thought one of my answers should be a haiku, so here’s one with an “I want” angle)
