Constable & Robinson has been successfully publishing erotica under its Robinson imprint for over sixteen years including the hugely popular Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica, edited by Maxim Jakubowski.
Other Mammoth editors have included Peter Burton (Gay Short Stories), Rose Collis (Lesbian Erotica) and Lawrence Schimel (Threesomes and Moresomes and New Gay Erotica). The 2011 volume of erotic photographs of men The Mammoth Book of Gorgeous Guys, compiled by Barbara Cardy, significantly included the work of 16 female photographers and the book was a finalist for the Erotic Awards 2012 Illustrated Book Award.
Robinson has recently published a number of short collections of three or four stories compiled by Barbara Cardy as ebooks and late last year saw the release of a series of twenty Modern Erotic Classics as ebooks, including Remittance Girl’s Beautiful Losers, David Meltzer’s The Agency, Samuel R. Delany’s The Tides of Lust, and Vanessa Duries’s The Ties that Bind.
The company’s Constable imprint has recently published Emma Becker’s Monsieur, translated from the original French and the Canvas imprint has opened the lid on the world of burlesque with Logan Belle’s Angel series.
