Saturday Night Social

Entertainment and Saturday Social

What better way to unwind after an exciting day at Eroticon than an evening of entertainment and conversation?

This year the wonderful folks from Eropartner Distribution are sponsoring our Saturday Night Social, to promote their unique new Zumio toy! There’ll be an evening of drinks, chat, and entertainment to enjoy while you mingle and have fun with other Eroticon attendees.

Eropartner will have a table set up with Zumio products for you to try out and even win. Meanwhile silhouette artist Alison Russell will be cutting charming silhouette portraits of attendees – showing off the Victorian art of creating unique miniature likenesses, for anyone who would like to take away a miniature of their own. Magician Daniel Barker will be with us too, entertaining everyone with tricks throughout the night.

Dress code: please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We’ll be in a pub, so jeans and t-shirts are absolutely fine, as is dressing up fancy if you fancy it.

Who is eligible to come to the Saturday Social?

Anyone who has an Eroticon ticket! Speakers, sponsors, attendees, press – even if you only have a day ticket for the Saturday or Sunday – we’d love to see you at the Saturday Social! Be sure to bring your Eroticon badge (you don’t have to wear it all evening) to be admitted into our reserved area. If you’re coming on a Sunday day ticket and you won’t be picking up your badge until the Sunday morning, just let us know in advance via the email address below and we’ll make sure the door staff let you in.

If you would like to bring someone along with you, there are a limited number of tickets to the Saturday Night Social that can be purchased in advance for £10 by emailing

Alison Russell

Alison Russell

Silhouette Artist

Alison learned how to cut silhouette portraits from her grandmother, Mary-Lou Russell (1928-2009) an established painter and silhouette artist herself for more than 50 years. Alison cut her first silhouette aged eight. She keenly observed her grandmother’s expert technique and was encouraged to develop the skill by practising on friends and family.

After gaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree in illustration Alison began to carve out a career as a freelance silhouette artist cutting at all kinds of events from weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties to charity balls, trade fairs, festivals and corporate functions. She also carries out commissions for more intricate illustrative pieces and family portrait scenes (including pets!).

Check out Alison’s website to see more of her work.

Daniel Barker

Daniel Barker

Daniel has been performing magic for over ten years, including at the Edinburgh Fringe, Nine Worlds Convention, and over five separate pubs. He used to be an improv comedian but has made a full recovery. He lives in North London with a vague sense of melancholy.

Saturday Night Social sponsored by Eropartner

Eropartner Distribution has kindly sponsored our Saturday night, meaning we’ve got cash for our fantastic entertainers and a drink when you arrive at the venue (beer, wine or soft drink – pick up your drink ticket from the Eropartner table on the night!).

They’re with us to promote the award-winning Zumio – a clitoral stimulator that uses patented SpiroTip®, oscillation technology to deliver a deep, different and core-shaking orgasm! Come and meet the Eropartner team on Saturday 17th March and see Zumio for yourself!

Where is the Saturday Social?

Held in a pub within a short walk of the Eroticon venue, Arlington House (our Saturday night venue is different to the one we used last year as we needed a little more space for all our attendees!). The pub serves drinks and also has a selection of food served all day until late.

As there are many Eroticon attendees who require anonymity, we don’t release the exact location of the Saturday Night Social until nearer the weekend itself – it will be emailed to all attendees and printed on the programme you receive when you get to the conference. But it is within a short walk of the conference venue (nearest tube stations: Camden Town, Mornington Crescent, Camden Road) and is a wheelchair-accessible venue. If you need any more information about the venue including (but not limited to!) details on transport and other access, please do get in touch with us via
