Florence Schechter is the director and founder of the Vagina Museum. After graduating in 2014 with a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham (she really likes Bs), she delved into science communication and in 2017, started the project to build the world’s first bricks and mortar museum about the gynaecological anatomy. Since then, the Museum has held two temporary exhibitions that have travelled around the country and over 30 events. She came Highly Commended in the Women of the Future Awards in the Arts and Culture category for her work.
