Two years ago we decided to instigate a new system of Eroticon Ambassadors at the conference after the idea was pitched to us by Horny Geek Girl who was one of the Ambassadors for 2017. Myself, Girl on the Net and Michael try really hard to spend time with people and make everyone feel welcomed and relaxed but there are a lot of you and only 3 of us and we have many responsibilities over the course of the weekend that often mean we can’t always be on hand to help if someone just needs a friendly face.
The role of the Eroticon Ambassadors is to be a friendly point of contact for delegates particularly for those people who are new to the event or are feeling nervous and/or shy or maybe even a little bit overwhelmed by it all. They will be around to help you if you need someone to just sit and have a chat for a bit with or you need a quiet hug and some reassurance or help finding someone you would like to meet.
Clearly they are delegates too so they will obviously be attending sessions, but they will be on hand during the Friday night meet and greet, the Saturday social and during lunch and break times through the conference.

Hi I’m Candy aka Debs and I’m super psyched to be Eroticon Ambassador again this year. Eroticon is an event close to my heart and I love playing a part in making sure people get the most out of their Eroticon experience. I’m at the event all weekend from Meet & Greet till Sunday close so if you have any questions or problems or even just feel a bit lost gimme a shout and we can have a chat. I’m really hard to miss thanks to my trademark bright pink hair and my colourful tattoos. So if you need me glance around and look for the pink glow! I can’t wait to see you all so make sure you say hi when you see me!

Hey, I’m Bee! I’m over the moon to be an Eroticon ambassador again. It took me a couple of years to find the courage to attend Eroticon and then when I finally got there I was utterly terrified. However, once the anxiety calmed down I felt as if I’d come home, I had found my blogging family. So now I want to encourage and help anybody else who feels the same way as I did to enjoy themselves as much as I do. I’m not as easy to spot as Debs but I have short dark hair and purple glasses, come and say hi!
During the morning introductions we will make sure that we point them out to everyone and also they will have Eroticon Ambassador on their delegate badge to help you identify them.

Thank you for putting this in place for newbie lonesome attendees.
Both these ambassadors helped me feel welcomed and find out more about what was going on last year (my first attendance) and I look forward to saying Hi to them again this year. But to any newbie I would say – try not to be shy or nervous because everyone is very welcoming. We are all here to meet each other, learn stuff and have a good time, so you’re among friends!
